The Singapore Energy Conference (SEC) is the flagship event of the International Energy Week (3 to 7 November). It will be a forum for policymakers from government or industry, to engage and dialogue with each other and also with experts and representatives from various research institutes, policy think tanks, and energy industry players and other partners on the challenges, possibilities and solutions to powering cities of the future. Topics will range from climate change policies, sustainable technology, energy efficiency, business risk and opportunities and integrated energy solutions for cities.
Why Singapore?
Singapore has positioned itself as a leader in advancing technology for renewable energy solutions. It is the hub for a number of multi-national energy companies with upstream and downstream operations centred here. As Asian populations grow and the thirst for energy multiplies, cities are put under tremendous pressure and have to adapt to integrate energy efficient solutions for all.
